Ingredients

250g crust pastry
100g sugar
250g walnut kernels
4-5 tbsp orange jam
3 eggs

This walnuts tart hides a tender heart of orange jam. Step-by-step recipe.

Grind the walnuts kernels.

Put the crust pastry in a baking pan (buttered or with baking paper).
Bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 5 minutes. Set aside.

Separate the whites from the yolks and whip them. Add the yolks and the sugar.

4.
Add the grindet walnuts to the mixture.

5.
Pour the mixture on the baked crust pastry with the jam.

6.
Pour in a buttered baking pan and bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 40-50 minutes.
