Chestnuts cake


400g chestnuts, cooked and peeled
200g all-purpose flour
15g baking powder
100g sugar
2 eggs
150ml milk
Separate the whites from the yolks and whip them.
Mix the yolks with the butter and the sugar. Add the whipped whites and all-purpose flour.
Chop coarsely the chestnuts and add to the mixture.
Dissolve the baking powder in the milk and add to the mixture.
Pour in a buttered baking pan and bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 40 minutes, until golden brown.
