Ingredients

Serves four:
1Kg onions
40g butter
100g white flour
200g grated parmesan

Mince the onions finely. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the onions and cook over low heat 10 minutes.
Add flour and a glass of water. Stir well, cover and cook 20-30 minutes, until creamy.
Remove from heat, add grated parmesan.
Pour into four individual ramekins and bake in preheated 180° C (356 F) oven 10 minutes.
Serve with wheat bread slices.
