Bucatini all'Amatriciana

Ingredients

Serves two:
200g bucatini
150g salt pork cheek or bacon
50g pecorino romano cheese
250ml canned tomatoes
1 onion
1 clove garlic
black pepper

Heat oil in a pan, add peeled and chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute. Add finely chopped onion, sauté over medium heat until transparent and add chopped bacon. Fry until beginning to brown, then add the tomatoes and a pinch of black pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
Meanwhile you should cook the bucatini: bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add bucatini and cook until al dente. Drain well and season with the sauce, grated pecorino cheese and fresh grinded black pepper.
